CSS3.com’s new style.
What do you think? approve? disapprove? Love it? Hate it?
I like the way all properties were easy to reach before. I will add a list of each one of them to the side menu very soon.
Also, Ive noticed I should have made each one of the properties a “page” and not a “post”. Is there a way to easily change that on wp?
Any comments?

What happened? I don’t think I like your site anymore….
I can’t find anything, my bookmark doesn’t work and all the links are different. You should have kept the sub-categories under the main categories, it was faster and more “user friendly” – especially when I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for, I could just scan the whole site at once.
And everything is dated!! Is this a blog or a website? I think you got LAZY. It definitely looks “pretty” now, but YOU COULD HAVE styled your old site to look exactly like this without all the stupid “blog” features – like this stupid comment. Who cares.
And…. as far as I know, in wordpress, you cannot disable the DATE – EVEN if it is a “page” instead of a “post”,.
Well you actually can, but you just style the date to the same color as your background, or make it like “0 ems” and it will go away, but it does not really make any sense IF IT IS A BLOG!!!! And what happens when you edit a “post”?, – It keeps the same original date, right, so what’s the point.
But whatever, I am still happy you put all this information together, because I learned alot from your old site…. so thanks.
Well, are we doing any better after the changes you mentioned above?
I have to concur that I liked the other site a bit better, only because there are so MANY different attributes to explain that it’s a pain to have to scroll down to find out.
Typographically and color-scheme wise, you’ve done a great job. It’s just that the navigation is awkward, and with such an information-heavy site, easy to use navigation is key.
Either way, like the person said above, I’ve learned A LOT from this site, thank you for this resource.
I like the site and I have nothing against the blog style i think it will lead to new developments the only suggestion I have at the moment is to load the result into a div at the same position as the link rather than at the top of the page and maybe take of the CSS as it is on every link and does not tell you anything you do not already know.
Finally this is a fantastic resource which I still use regularly thanks for putting it together
Visually it looks good.
But I preferred the old structure with the horizontal navigation bar. And as mentioned previously, having the sub categories was much quicker to navigate as you got a quick overview of the various groups. Now I need to scroll down and scan as I go along.
And did you change the URL structure? With no redirects? Big no-no.
it has the same style as usingmac.com. not original. don’t ask if people like it if it’s not your own.
I never claimed it to be my own. I never said it was original.
It’s a good template. I do like it alot. I found this site after you redesigned it so i don’t know how it looked before. I just read the comments again and i realized how rude my comment seemed. I was in a foul mood and i didn’t mean to carry that onto your blog – that and i must have misunderstood your post about it. Sorry for being an idiot – you have a wonderful site! Keep up the good work!!

I never knew the old site, but I am loving this one, alot!
For me, the main text is nice but tiny, and I’m using a mere 1024×768 resolution, not the native 1400×1050. This is a high-res LCD monitor, and the text is so small that it can’t be rendered properly, so it’s antialiased and looks more grey than black, reducing the contrast and making it even more difficult to read. The side menu (list of styles) is also too lightweight and does not have quite enough contrast.
I also agree with the comments about navigation and having to know what you’re looking for.
I never used the old site before, but I’m really lovin’ this one !!
The only suggestion I could make, is to do something about the menu.
To see the whole menu you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. If found this quite awkward.

I really like the site. It looks kind of french, which is cool.
I heard they have a lot of good stuff in France!
Having to scroll up and down the page to locate a property of interest in the right navigation column is a pain. I’ve loved this site for a long time, but this style, albeit attractive, is irritating and definitely not appreciated. Please revert it.
Forgive the double post, but is there a way to access the old news articles?
If not, would it be possible to make some sort of archive?
The resource is useful, though the interface is not ideal. Blogs are not ideal for static (non-journal dated) content. You might want to set this up at a unique URL, a real web site. There it might be easier to show examples of each — which would be really useful!
You’re in my bookmarks mate, don’t worry. Keep up the good work!
