Comcast SportsNet New England is seeking a skilled and experienced freelance Broadcast Engineer to support our growing operation. The freelance Broadcast Engineer position requires significant, diverse experience in the installation, maintenance, and operation of highly modern broadcast video, audio, and IT systems. Shifts may be part time or full-time and may include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.


  • Develop and maintain familiarity with CSNNE’s broadcast infrastructure and operations.
  • Provide front line technical support to a diverse technical and non-technical user base.
  • Troubleshoot device, wiring, and system problems and assist in the resolution to any technical difficulties.
  • Assist with satellite feeds, technical operations, and systems maintenance.
  • Maintain high technical quality standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
