The IT Desktop & Network Administrator has primary responsibility for all aspects of the computer network. This includes, but is not limited to: hardware, software, telephony, servers, workstations, networking infrastructure and security. All duties apply to all business networks (LAN and WAN).


  • Primary resource for support of IT operations
  • Manage day-to-day network operations, focusing on uptime, availability, and support
  • Maintain, install, upgrade and configure servers, workstations, laptops and network infrastructure
  • Install and configure computer peripherals
  • Maintain and assist in hardware and software configuration
  • Maintain and assist development of security policies and procedures
  • Business System support and troubleshooting
  • Administer and maintain VoIP (Cisco) Phone and voicemail system, including deployments and changes
  • Support Engineering and Operations staff where required
  • Assist in planning, design, construction and installation of new systems and equipment
  • Work closely with all departments to help satisfy IT and MIS needs of the Network
  • Work with Engineering, Operations and IT to troubleshoot, deploy, maintain and document the IT infrastructure
  • Assure that all support issues are handled quickly and completely
  • Preventative maintenance for all computer systems and services
  • Monitor existing systems to find ways to increase stability and efficiency
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network issues especially technology workflows
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
