Our client is looking to bring on a SharePoint Developer to help build, customize and standardize a logistical based site for their customer. This position would be the Senior SharePoint Developer.

Top Skills Desired:
1. 5 years of SharePoint/MOSS 2007/2010 experience to include SharePoint Designer.
2. 5 years of master page design, site design, web part development, work flows and customization experience using SharePoint and SharePoint Designer (MOSS 2007 preferably)
3. 2-5 years of ASP.NET/C# development to include development within Visual Studio 2007.
4. 5 years developing CSS via SharePoint tools.

The customer is looking to TEKsystems' client to help enhance the existing site to better streamline the input of logistical requirements (training, exercises, movement, etc.) and better match them with capabilities from various countries within the organization to ultimately improve operations. This person will be responsible for the development, testing, fielding, and maintenance of the web portal for all activities.
- The developer will utilize advanced knowledge of MS SharePoint, SharePoint Designer and web enabled programming languages (ASP.NET and C#), to convert requirements into sub sites and master pages using MOSS 2007 in SharePoint.
- Also, they will be creating out of the box solutions from Designer to Visual Studio 2007 to create end user friendly sites and be the SME for the team and the users.
- This person will mainly be customizing and integrating web parts and requirements to include creating master pages and style sheets to best map capabilities from various sources and create work flows.
- The developer is responsible for ensuring functionally in support of military logistics processes and plans. The analyst evaluates requirements, designs and develops software tools and document changes.
- Additional duties include providing procedures for evaluating systems, defining conditions of acceptable performance, debugging and resolving hardware/software problems as they occur, assisting in the specification of requirements and design in support configuration changes and ensuring hardware/software configuration control.

Activities include the following:
- Create site collection, site, sub site, document library as necessary.
- Create and manage permission groups as necessary.
- Customize and standardize sites and sub sites as necessary.
- Work closely with HarmonieWeb SharePoint administrators
- Develops/deploys new web parts for MLCC
- Prepare and help transition to SharePoint MOSS 2010 as necessary
- Implement appropriate controls as indicated by the business requirements (data retention, permissions, etc.).
- Works with user community to define requirements for new capabilities and then implementing the solution
- Ensures customer satisfaction by responding to service requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Researches, evaluates, recommends, and implements on-line knowledge based applications for faster response to problems.
- Provide knowledge transfer to team members by conducting training sessions, writing documentation, and providing one-on-one knowledge transfer by including team members in the day-to-day work of building and maintaining the environment.
Also, the site will be used to store a menu of request and logistics capabilities available to the user, as well as a reporting mechanism to gather and report different metrics related to satisfying the logistic requirements. Using the Adobe Connect and Instant Messenger within HarmonieWeb, create a collaboration page to assist participants with synchronous and asynchronous efforts to match requirements to capabilities.
Additionally, create separate user/desktop guides for operating in the MLCC site and adding to/modifying/updating the site.
