Software Engineer - Internet Explorer Developer and Tester


Seattle, WA


 


The Web Development group is a service-oriented group involved in the creation, design, development, and maintenance of web sites and web-based applications. This role primarily involves development and enhancements to the client side framework for our web sites, but may also include development for partner sites, as well as demonstrations, presentations, and internal tools.


 


As an Internet Explorer Developer and Tester you will be responsible for identifying, logging, fixing, and testing Internet Explorer specific issues.  You will be working with the Client Architecture team to implement framework level enhancements to ensure our site running effectively on the Internet Explorer browsers.




Responsibilities:


-  Work against known IE bug list to reproduce, identify, implement, and verify fixes


-  Review feature code (consisting of HTML, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, and/or XML) to identify IE vulnerabilities and inconsistencies. 


-  Regress the site and log any IE specific issues


-  Recommend IE tools and processes to the development and quality assurance to ensure ongoing development efforts meet IE support specifications
