User Interface Software Engineer
Our client is seeking a User Interface Software Engineer who will be part of a newly created team supporting new clients and products that are integral to the companies continued growth and domination of the mobility software market. We are seeking a passionate UI expert who will work UX and product management to build superbly functional and elegant user experiences. You will develop a dynamic interface that work across multiple browsers, and also plays nicely with mobile devices. Sprint with your team members in agile mode, knocking out tasks and bugs while continuously looking for places to streamline the code base. Also you will dive into customer issues when needed providing an excellent customer experience.
You need to know this
2+ years developing compelling user interfaces for web applications
Object oriented programming, MVC and other design patterns
Test Driven Development (TDD) and integration testing
Solid knowledge of a good chunk of our technology stack including AJAX, ExtJS, HTML, CSS, Sencha Touch, JSON, Ruby on Rails
Understanding of cross-platform browser compatibility issues is a must
Some other great things to know
